Microelettrica Power Devices (Pty) Ltd was founded in 1988 in Silvertondale, Pretoria, South Africa.
Since inception, continuous development has been done on the design of ultra-compact, high-efficiency heatsinks and heatsink modules for power stacks and equipment and the Microelettrica Power Devices name has become synonymous with unique solutions for complex heat dissipation, assembly and packaging requirements in the power electronics industry. We presently have stacks and equipment operating under the most arduous conditions, throughout the industry from deep-level mining to aerospace applications, from a few amps to many tens of kiloamps, from mere watts to Megawatts of power.
