Design, Prototyping and Manufacture

Microelettrica Power Devices is dedicated to the design, development and manufacture of high-performance power semiconductor modules, assemblies, equipment and monitoring systems.

Well-equipped prototyping laboratory and complete in-house production from machining, electroplating, epoxy isolation and bonding to final manufacture and testing.

All products are fully tested electrically and inspected mechanically during and after production.

Microelettrica Power Devices has staff and consultants qualified in the three main disciplines of power electronics, viz. Electronic engineering, Thermal management and Mechanical design.

Design of customer-specific products is done in close collaboration where either the customer requests input at the concept stage of new equipment or the Company may evaluate existing equipment and suggest means of improving or upgrading.

Drawings for approval, PCB layouts, heatsink and semiconductor selection, prototyping, evaluation and datasheets or manuals are all done in-house.
